DMCA & copyright policy
Altimateguide respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects visitors and listing owners to do the same. If you believe content available on this site infringes your copyright, you may ask us to remove or disable access to it under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Please use the subject line “DMCA Notice” so your message is routed correctly.
What your notice must include
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must substantially include all of the following:
- Your signature — a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the work — the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material — the URL or other information reasonably sufficient for us to locate the material on this site.
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good-faith statement — a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement — a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification. We may also forward your notice, including your contact information, to the person who posted the material.
Counter-notification
If your material was removed because of a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of a United States district court), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Repeat infringers
We may remove or disable access to material claimed to be infringing and may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers. We maintain a record of notices and removals for this purpose.
We may also remove content proactively where a claim is clear, and we may decline to restore content while a dispute is unresolved.
Good-faith misuse
Please note that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. If you are unsure whether content infringes your rights, consider consulting a qualified attorney before filing.
