CalendarTask

Overview

CalendarTask (also listed as 日历清单) is a desktop calendar and task management application developed by Beijing Xiaowei Cloud Inc. It is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, with an additional WeChat mini-program client. A semi-transparent calendar stays on the desktop, and double-clicking a date opens a field for notes or tasks.

The application combines calendar events with a to-do list. It supports reminders, recurring tasks, subtasks, and countdown days. Calendars and tasks sync across devices in real time, and data is backed up to the cloud so it can be restored after switching computers. A team edition adds shared calendars, permission management, and collaboration for small groups.

CalendarTask is presented as the next-generation product from the team behind DesktopCal (桌面日历). Existing DesktopCal users can export their data and import it into CalendarTask; the import copies rather than moves data, keeping the original intact. Newer features such as WeChat reminders, shared calendars, and multi-device sync are developed only for CalendarTask, while the older DesktopCal continues to be maintained.
