Overview

TecAdRiseBot is a free, open-source alternative to hosted agent desktops, distributed as an Electron application for Windows. It runs a team of AI agents on the user's own machine, each with its own model selection, system prompt, persistent instructions, MCP servers, skills and scheduled routines. A shared, wiki-style memory vault (an index, note files and a log) lets agents store lasting facts that other agents can reuse on later turns. Agents can message one another and expose a live snapshot of their own configuration, which the project describes as a self-healing loop. Setup requires Node.js, npm and a Cursor API key; the key is stored using the operating system's keychain rather than in the chat database. An unauthenticated control API binds only to localhost, so other tools can list agents and post messages. The software is MIT licensed and independent of Grok, xAI and Cursor.
