Overview
Timerfly is employee monitoring and attendance software for teams that work on Windows and Mac computers. Each team member installs a small desktop app, and the work day starts by itself when they sit down. The app records time at work, app and website use, idle spells and breaks, and managers see a live view of who is working, idle or on a break.
Attendance is marked automatically against each person's shift, including late, left-early and absent days, with leave and sick days on the same calendar and a monthly attendance export for payroll. Reports compare tracked time, effectiveness and productivity across people, departments and dates, and can be exported to Excel. Optional screenshots, off by default, can be blurred per department or person, and the vendor states that keystrokes are never recorded.
The product also covers shift scheduling, project and task timers, client report links, alerts in Slack, Teams and Telegram, and an API with webhooks. It runs a 14-day free trial with every feature and no card. Prices are per person a month, billed yearly, with Starter, Pro and Business plans and an Enterprise tier for 200 or more people.
